reports, escrow closings, witness closings, construction disbursements, and title insurance commitments and policies in Southwestern
Illinois/ Madison and St. Clair Counties (the “Metro East”) since its inception in 1990. It also offers attorney assisted closings. Pontoon
Title Company is an issuing agent for our underwriter Attorneys’ Title Guaranty Fund, Inc. which is the oldest bar-related title
company in Illinois.
Our Mission
The goal in creating and operating Pontoon Title Company was to establish a title company that performs quicker title searches
and provides more personal service than the competition. We pride ourselves on accurate and efficient title reports and closings.
Every transaction Pontoon Title Company closes is directly supervised by an Illinois licensed attorney to ensure that all transaction
details and requirements are met. We are in business to guarantee that our customer’s investment/ property is protected by title
insurance through the strength of our underwriter. A lawyer is available to represent a party and help resolve title issues, prepare
legal documents, and attend closings when requested and engaged.
